2011 Dec 03 03:24 (#4220.12845):Fixed:
1) Load Reader
2) Click Subscribe.
3) Paste in this URL: http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q="@aeshares"
4) Click "Add"
5) Go to "Reader Setting" in the gear icon thingy.
6) Click "Send To"
7) Click "Create a custom link" at the bottom.
* Name: AE Shares
* URL: https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?source=webclient&text=@aeshares ${title} ${short-url}
8) Click SaveWhen you want to share something from Reader, click "Send To," then "AE Shares." That'll load the twitter updater thingy with "@aeshares" then the name of the thing you're sharing then a shortened URL to the thing you're sharing.
You can also use "Share to... Tweetdeck" (or whatever Twitter client you use) from an Android phone and type "@aeshares" to put it into that feed.
2011 Nov 11 08:07 (#4220.12844):You can't share with note from the mobile browser version of Reader anymore (without opening the link and using the android share interface), so it's too much work now for me to bother most of the time. Plus sharing to g+ sucks compared to sharing to Reader, of course.
2010 Sep 16 06:04 (#4213.12799):Yeah, sorry, I knew that. Your candy is literal, mine isn't. I couldn't care less about a box of nerds, while a box FOR nerds is certain to get my money.
2010 Sep 15 08:43 (#4213.12795):I've dropped my Nexus One several times, Cindy. On concrete even. I'm a klutz. I don't ADVISE it or anything, but they hold up better than you'd think.
I don't know how long I'll have this phone. I mean, I plan to use it in SOME way for a long time, but realistically new candy will come along some day and I'll have to buy it. My came-out-in-January Nexus One still holds up pretty well against the newer phones, though. It lacks some things they have, but it has some things they lack, and its processor is in the same class as the stuff coming out right now.
But that's not going to last long. I heard rumors of a 2 GHz chip coming to HTC phones this fall (mine's 1 GHz). If so, that puts them on a whole new tier. My guess is there will be some pretties on Black Friday, if you can wait that long. Even if you don't get the newest pretty, the current tier will get cheaper when that happens.
Scott's been doing a crapton of research about what's out now and what's coming out, if you want to bug him about it.
Oh, and if you drop an EVO, I suspect the sidewalk takes more damage than the phone.
2010 Sep 14 11:06 (#4213.12793):You could root it and install CyanogenMod (alternative android build) to avoid paying extra for the hotspot, but that might nuke the sprint TV options.
2010 Apr 07 12:13 (#4206.12747):Woohoo!! We get to call non-Americans uncultured cretins!!!
2010 Apr 06 10:06 (#4206.12744):So is Coca Cola Classic one playable word in New Scrabble, or do the proper nouns have to be spaceless?
2010 Mar 28 09:58 (#4204.12735):No tiebreaker necessary. Congrats, Cindy! In a year of everyone sucking at NCAA picks, you sucked exactly enough!
2010 Mar 21 04:33 (#4204.12729):Er, I'll be damned. Figured I was further out of the possible than I am :)
2010 Mar 21 04:32 (#4204.12728):The Obama picks aren't me this year. I went with an "always pick the higher ranked team; referencing Obama's picks would take longer than I want to spend on this" strategy. I am, therefore, also screwed.
