OK, good news. The Travis County Democratic party has done some investigation into the issue I described below, and it turns out to be user error. Something like if you hit the enter button trying to submit the ballot, but you have scrolled one page too far, then you will end up hitting <enter> on the presidential ballot, which is what caused the vote change.
Sorry for the additional voter fraud hysteria on top of some of the other stories that have come out recently. Still, check your work. Damn, no link again. Uhhh... try this.
Speaking of party lines, when I received my ohio absentee ballot I also got a handy-dandy postcard to help me vote republican "from the court house to the white house!" It was handy in that I knew immediately what judges and representatives not to vote for. It made my research on the other candidates so much easier.
And on another note, I got to vote on a gay marriage amendment for the state. That makes me nervous. I don't know if I trust my fellow Ohioans to strike that one down....
awesome. but did you get a signed photo of GW and laura bush? i did, but forgot to take it to the dartboard in the newly renovated 9.222.
didja see the plug?

If a large enough number of people are shown to have used the Dem. party line except for Bush, maybe we can have a lawsuit to bump Kerry from 37% to 38% of the Texas vote.
I personally object to having a party-line option on the ballot.
