I made a grand realization that I'm easy to please when I discovered the new Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper tonight at my neighborhood Randalls. (on a side note, this link says we're in a "heartland market", which is nice to know). Walking to the checkout with both regular and diet versions in my hand, I realized that they could pretty much put whatever the hell they wanted inside and I'd still whip it off the shelf and start guzzling. I want to enjoy it before I read the label and find out that it's got gizzards or whatever in it.
By the way, the new flavor is good. But you knew I was going to say that, didn't you?
Yeah, and I could get the mysterious Baja Blast (aka mountainzuma's revenge) if I chose to go to Taco Bell. But that won't let me drink it every day unless I choose to develop an extra skin fold to hold all the tater tots and Meximelts.
In other beverage news, Pepsi Holiday Spice starts November 1. (Limited 8 week run, get yours before it disappears! Be a good consumer!)
Pepsi sucks. That new Dr Pepper sounds interesting, although it makes me wonder if they were just being cheap by only adding two extra flavors. Perhaps cherry-vanilla-lime-strawberry-purple would have been nice too.
Purple is such a wonderful flavor.
This recommendation comes from the man who actually enjoyed the Hooters Hot Wing-flavored potato chips at ExMFC. Drink at your peril....
Actually, those were Hot Wing flavor with ranch. And yes, they were good. And yes, I will be buying a bottle of Pepsi Holiday Spice.
Speaking of soda flavors, what ever happened to that Red Fusion flavor? I kind of liked that one.

I'm pleased to know that Cadbury-Schweps, the parent company of Dr.P, also makes some of my other favorite beverages like RC, Canada Dry and Stewarts.
Also, you can get cherry vanilla Dr. P. at any Sonic drive-thru just by asking...
