Little known fact, Detroit got "lucky" when its 6th position lottery pick from the Grizzlies (a 1996 trade for Otis Thorpe) got them the #2 pick (7% chance), but if it'd been the LeBron pick (6% chance), it would've gone to Memphis, which got to the playoffs anyway.
