Happy 5th Birthday today to Alkaline Earth. From humble beginnings as a way to mock zieglerfe to humble on-goings as what it is today I love all you guys and gals that still come here and have stuff to say. mrflip and I thank you.
I've been reviewing my post history in honor of this milestone, and I gotta know, have you been able to keep your pact with yourself, splatnik?
Wait a minute... I thought it was a way to prevent me from hitting "Reply All" to all the e-mails we used to send to each other.
So, this being Alkaline Earth's birthday... if we were to have a "Best of... Top 5 Memorable Posts or Comments", what would you pick?
How we've come from the days of fark repostings and the angry baiting and counter-baiting.
zieglerfe: I have long been planning to assemble a master list of the best AE moments once I graduate. It will have to continue to wait a bit.

3) Concerning the pact, I have said y'all a couple of times while teaching because it's a decent gender neutral way of addressing the class
