The Perfect Storm! A buzzword used increasingly by idiot businessfolk that has become as annoying and worn out as George Clooney's "acting."
Nice buzzword round-up from the comments:
"When I overuse cliche, it's because I'm victim of a perfect storm of burning the candle at both ends of the midnight oil, while the buck is stopping here where I'm building a better mousetrap and trying to get my foot in the door. Then, while I'm busy taking one for the team, and giving it both my all and 130%, I'm too distracted to be proactive outside the box, and change a paradigm. Of course, this is the 800 pound gorilla in the house divided against itself, and no one can anymore knock it out of the park."
Is "Black Swan" cliche' yet? I hope not, since I haven't even finished that book yet....

Makes me long for the days when the same idiot businessfolk used "100 year flood" (or 400 or 1000) to defer blame for the same types of things.
