Funny, I was just expressing to mrflip last week that I hoped it was some clown that invented the credit default swap or the mortgage backed security. This is pretty much the opposite of that.

The Bloomberg piece mentions the fact that the president traditionally invites any US Nobel winners to the White House. That should be fun.

An ironic nobel prize like that would be really funny. Kind of like 'the man of the year', it goes to the most influential person, not necessarily the best.
