Also, note that most of the model cars are SUVs and pickups. My bicycle experience indicates that there is definitely a correlation with crazy driving.
Mostly, you would look foolish trying to talk your way out of a speeding ticket. "No, really officer, I'm a very responsible driver and I never speed, I must have just been carried away this one time."

That is clever, but wouldn't you end up looking foolish in situations where there is only one lane, or on I-35 when all lanes of traffic are at a standstill?
