That's awesome -- it reads like plausibly bad poetry. There's a slightly different word frequency list from a different corpus. Here is an overview of Dolch words -- words in order by how often they turn up in children's books (and thus in order in which they should be learned). A similar idea is used in "Multinational Customized English", invented by Xerox -- in order to facilitate machine translation, Xerox manuals are written in a restricted, ambiguity-free subset of the English language.
