Google is rolling out a web-based spreadsheet with shared editing and embedded chat.
I'm not sure how credible a threat this is to corporate installations of MS Office, but for home users it, combined with some of the free web word processors, may start to make people think about whether they need to upgrade Office next time.

I also noticed that Google Pages is up and running. After reading about it in this article it was down for a while. It seems like a neat tool for people who don't want to do a lot of HTML to make a webpage.
