Roger Ebert's website now has a 'Most Hated' feature. It includes natch roastings of 'Battlefield Earth,' 'B.A.P.S.' and 'Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever' but also a surprise skewering of 'The Ususal Suspects.' See especially the Deuce Bigalow 2 review, containing one of the burningest burns ever delivered.
"This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels."
Heh, funny.
This one makes my wonder why I still have this movie on my shelf; it never having seen the inside of a DVD player:
"Freddy Got Fingered"
This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.
And re: "For those who care," speaking in my offical capacity as a Pulitzer Prize wiener, pablo, you suck for going MIA and then making a post to AE regarding your new e-mail address.
E-mail pablo.
Sorry, sG. Yours wasn't there when I started writing.
Youch from leroy!
I re-read most of those reviews because they were so funny. They were collected a few years ago in a great book called "I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie" which only contains one star or less movies.
